MAY DAY RE-OPENING FOR THE KINGS LOCK! (ARCHIVED)

ARCHIVED

Illustration: Cornerstone Inns/The Kings Lock
by Dave Roberts

The Kings Lock Inn, close to the Wardle Canal junction in Booth Lane, has featured before in our Middlewich Diary and it's great to be able to feature it again, this time on an upbeat and optimistic note with the news of the  grand re-opening of the King's Lock on  a very appropriate date, 1st May 2014.
The rebirth of the pub, which has been in a somewhat run-down condition in recent years, comes courtesy of Cornerstone Inns which has a good track record when it comes to revitalising pub premises and also has interests in pubs in Winsford as well as running bars for Middlewich Town Council and the FAB Festival.
The Kings Lock is well-placed to cater for local Middlewich residents and also for thirsty canal users which pass through the lock which gives the pub its name.

You can find out more about the Kings Lock re-opening from our friends at the
