It's high time we had another poem from the 'Odd Exception' files. This qualifies for inclusion on the Middlewich Diary because, like It Used To Be A Pub, it was inspired by the destruction of the Red Lion, in its day one of the town's best pubs, to make way for the awful Cat's Whiskers.
