Following the resignations of Cllrs Pauline Hickey and Peter Hirst for personal reasons please see below the Notice of Vacancy for the Cledford Ward. Electors of this ward have 14 days to contact Cheshire East Council Electoral Services as detailed in the notice to request an election be held.
If an election is not requested by 10 or more electors of Cledford Ward then the Council will be entitled to fill the vacancy by Co-option.
