Help For Heroes

Tesco Helping Heroes

Come and Support Help for Heroes on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 June 2016
at Tesco Stores Nationwide

Help for Heroes (H4H) are delighted to announce that Tesco stores will be supporting the charity in June with a National Collection weekend! Over the weekend of 11 and 12 June hundreds of volunteers will be collecting donations at participating Tesco stores across the UK.

Could you spare a few hours over the weekend to help collect much needed funds for our Heroes.
Please contact H4H on 01980 846459 or www.collectforheroes.org.uk for more details or to register to take part.

Bryn Parry, CEO and Co-Founder, Help for Heroes: “H4H is all about ‘doing your bit’ and this event is a wonderful example of people rallying support and having a great deal of fun while they raise money for a wonderful cause. Sailors, soldiers and airmen who are injured today will still need our support tomorrow and in the days that follow, for the rest of their lives. They are still battling and we won't let them battle alone so we’d love for as many people as possible to support them while out doing the weekly shop and help make this year a huge success.”
If you can’t spare a few hours to collect, please try and make it down to your local Tesco store; our volunteers will be really pleased to see you.

ABOUT HELP FOR HEROES
Help for Heroes offers comprehensive support to those who have suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses while serving our country. This support is provided through grants direct to our Heroes and their families, grants to other charities and through four Help for Heroes Recovery Centres across the UK. A recent study launched in January 2016 by Help for Heroes and King’s College London found of the 750,000 men and women who served as Regulars between 1991 and 2014, at least 66,000 need long term support.

Would you be able to spare an hour or two on either Saturday 11th or Sunday 12th to collect donations in the foyer at Tesco and help give something back to the men and women who have served our country so well?
