WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?

The original target of 200 Facebook 'likes' for Middlewich Library was reached in the twinkling of an eye, so here's the new target total of 500, which we sincerely hope, will itself soon be well exceeded.
The Library is an invaluable resource for Middlewich and its people. Go to the Facebook page and click away to show YOUR support.
And ask all your family and friends to do the same.

With thanks to MARC HOLMES

MIDDLEWICH HERITAGE SURVEY 2015

Kerry Fletcher, Middlewich Town Council Heritage Officer, writes:

I am sending out this message to all previous supporters of heritage, partners, colleagues and friends of Middlewich. Please could you help us by filling out a quick survey on heritage in Middlewich?
• You don’t have to be a resident to have a point of view, the survey is for all to fill in. We need the public’s point of view on heritage and on heritage in Middlewich to enable us to work in a more focused way, bring new projects online and make decisions on how we can best serve the public’s needs.
• The survey will be on line for 1 month and is mainly tick boxes so it will only take a couple of minutes to complete.
• The more responses we get, means we have more information to guide us with any future plans or fund-raising for the town and the surrounding parishes.
Please use the link below to load the form and pass on the link to others you feel would be interested to take part.
Thank you in advance

MIDDLEWICH MAKERS MARKET 2014 (ARCHIVED)

ARCHIVED

Middlewich Town Crier

Now firmly established as a monthly fixture in Middlewich, the Makers Market, following on from the pioneering Artisan Market, gets more popular as each month goes by.
With the introduction of monthly markets in Middlewich the  Town Council quickly  saw the potential for revitalising trade  and drawing people together to make each market a Middlewich occasion.
Wheelock Street traders also realised that the markets were a great opportunity to promote their own businesses and show people what the town can offer, not just on one day a month, but during the rest of the month too.
The advent of the Makers Market has meant that the Council and Middlewich Vision have been able to work together with market organisers to promote the market both locally and further afield as a part of the regeneration of the town.
Crucially, the organisers have realised the importance of integrating the market's activities with other events happening in Middlewich and have enlisted the aid of local organisations such as  the Middlewich Rose Fete and schools and youth groups in the town to make these monthly markets unmissable.
The whole philosophy is summed up in the Makers Market's slogan;
'Bringing The Community Together'
The Makers Market takes place on the last Saturday of every month in Wheelock Street.
