Issue number 51 of GO LOCAL, covering April and May, is out  and should be on your doorstep now. If you think this is just another local advertising magazine you're in for a pleasant surprise.
There is, as always, an invaluable WHAT'S ON guide for the next two months (page 26), as well as
contact  numbers for local services such as the Town Council, property maintenance, plumbers, electricians, legal services etc (page 34).
ESSENTIAL INFO (Page 32) gives you vital emergency contact numbers for gas, electricity and water services, doctors, dentists and everyone else you may need in a hurry.
The actual advertisements, too, are a great source of information if you're looking for goods or services and want to 'Go Local'!
There's also the usual DID YOU KNOW? feature (page 12) and Julie Elizabeth Smalley, in another fascinating MIDDLEWICH'S HERITAGE, feature, talks about those colourful 'roses and castles' which adorn many traditional narrowboats.
Julie makes the suggestion that Middlewich might want to adapt this style to become a part of the town's civic identity.
All in all, as always, GO LOCAL is well worth looking at and keeping handy for reference.
