ReplyDeleteEven now, I think of her riding around town on her bike, how she & my Nana (Mary Jane Sant) were continually in cahoots on all kinds of things & in her later years, how we all used to go round to visit & we'd sit in the front room, having tea & biscuits, with mum & dad's dog & cat curled up in front of her fire. When she met my husband (who's a big strapping 6'2"), she pinched his cheeks & told him he was a "real smasher" LOL. Miss them both (Nana & your mum)...
